At Kianga, we love the ring, and we love the living room just as much. Whether a Kianga dog is standing in the winner's circle or curled up on the couch after a long walk, we believe both are a reflection of the same thing: a dog who is sound in body, sound in mind, and sound in spirit.

We're proud of the dogs we've shown, and we'll always celebrate the wins that come from years of thoughtful breeding. But we never want a family to feel like the "family pet" puppy is somehow less special than a show puppy. Every Kianga puppy comes from the same careful health testing, the same attention to temperament, the same love — because a wagging tail at the door every evening is its own kind of win, and thirteen years of loyal companionship is its own kind of legacy.

That's really the heart of it: whether your Kianga dog goes on to earn a title or simply earns a permanent spot on the bed, we consider that dog a success story either way. Championships show the world what our breeding produces. Family homes show us what it means.

We are a small family oriented breeding program located in beautiful Santa Cruz, CA. 

Each pairing is chosen with care, rooted in a thoughtful commitment to genetic integrity and temperament. We work to ensure that every puppy born into our program is genetically robust, temperamentally sound, and well-prepared for the world, having been lovingly raised in our home and gently introduced to a wide range of sensory experiences from their earliest days.
